1491 double turnstiles featured here are part of the 1491 turnstile range.
Type 1491 Security turnstiles have been externally tested, approved and accredited to LPS1175: Issue 8, certificate 1572 and can be found in the Red Book. You will need to search for turnstiles.
The double units in the turnstile range are comprehensive, encompassing A1(SR1)–C5(SR3) rated turnstiles with straight bar rotors. The biggest single advantage of a double unit is that it fits in a single standard fence panel. The A1(SR1) version is featured above. The B3(SR2) and C5(SR3) versions have straight bar rotors strengthened to meet the requirements of the LPS standard: The end panels have been modified for increased resilience.
The turnstile is designed to be surface mounted for rapid deployment.
